The Nintendo UK site has announced that Thursday, September 13th at 3pm for a Wii U preview presentation.
It’s expected that September 19th will be date at which we’ll get price details, launch titles and the important release date. Some leaks suggest three models; $249, $299 and $349.
So, is the UK getting a look at the Wii U before the States? It’ll depend on how far this preview gets but there have also been persistant rumours that manufacturing problems will delay the European release of the Wii U whereas Nintendo will want to get the console out in the States in time for Black Friday.
Nintendo have a lot resting on the Wii U and its pretty easy to find gamers who’re not optimistic about the console and what it can offer. A lot depends on the Wii U GamePad and whether it is as successful in transforming gameplay and engaging household imagination as the wiiMote was.
