Iron Crown Enterprises, ICE, are busy rebuilding a game and its fan base. That’s their description for the new effort around Rolemaster.
Rolemaster has split into two; Rolemaster Classic and Rolemaster Fantasy Role Play. The latter was launched a self-contained set of rules but grew and produced expansions. Rolemaster is a classic game, it turned 30 in August, and the new Rolemaster project – unified Rolemaster – is designed to give it a new lease of life.
The Rolemaster public playtest files will appear on the ICE website. Here’s how you can take part.
- Go to the forums on the ICE website
- Are you already a member of the ICE forums? If your answer is Yes, then go to Step 4. If your answer is No, then go to Step 3.
- Register on the ICE forums as a new member
- As a registered forum member, you will be able to see the Playtest Forums
- Go to the various Playtesting Agreement and Playtest File threads, read and agree to the terms, then download the Public Playtest files
Guild Companion Publications, the team behind ICE, want thoughts, comments and opinions on the playtest published on their playtest forum. Playtesters who make contributions get their names in the Playtester credits in the final products.
