Sony Entertainment Network put together a funky and rather geeky party. The result was this showcase video you can see above. It’s not hard to imagine it being used in ad campaigns this year.
When Geek Native heard about this – we pestered the agencies involved until we unlocked some behind the scenes information.
What’s the name of the band in video? It’s Swiss Lips and the music is U Got The Power.
It took about 100 people to ready this party-meets-display over two days. About 50 people from the public were lucky enough to enjoy the tour and viewing.
Did you spot all the movie clips? Rise of the Planet of the Apes was easy to spot but if you pause the video on some of the “field of TV” shots you woudl do well to pick out all these.

What about the gaming? As you’d expect there was the PlayStation 3, the PS Vita and Move controllers featured. Gran Turismo made an appearance and one of my favourite scenes was the LittleBigPlanet set.
Other hardware included Sony’s Android Tablet S, a host of BRAVIA TVs and the projectors featured have the sexy name of VPL-FH30.
