This month’s Echoes from the Wyrd has something of an artistic theme. In the preview section we have a world exclusive set of Vistas of the Arcane from V Shane’s Heathen Oracle, a gallery of concept art from Perpetrated Press forthcoming Factory, a downloadable teaser sample of Goodman Game’s Idylls of the Rat King and more atmospheric sampling from Bottled Imp Games.
This month we’ve been extra sneaky in our e-View tactics. We’ve got the top two from Mystic Eye Games, Doug Herring and Hal Greenberg, in the hot chair and we ask them about MEG’s support for smaller RPG companies, about their own product lines, their plans for the future and about their relationship with their imprint partners. Doug and Hal’s e-View answers are put side-by-side here so you can compare and contrast. Sneaky? We also get Charles Rice of Vigilance Press – who just happens to be one of those Mystic Eye imprint partners – in the chair and we ask him about his side of the imprint relationship with MEG.
For our news round up we’ve the winners of GameWyrd’s Mark of Approval and the Daisho and the Ninja adventure booster from AEG. We’ve got a summary of some known changes to the forthcoming revised 3rd edition d20 core rules as well as notes on the new Marvel RPG, Chainmail line and Lord of the Rings tradeable miniatures game.
You can check to see whether you’ll receive email alerts when new issues of Echoes from the Wyrd are published by checking My Echo or by editing the details in your Profile page.
