WizKids are introducing a new feature for their product ranges called SwitchClix. It will appear in February with the release of the Batman: Gotham City Strategy Game.
SwitchClix allows figures to be switched from one base to another. This is important for HeroClix fans because those bases can be dials. As a result, the models that come with the Batman: Gotham City Strategy Game can be used for more than one game.
Scott D’Agostino WizKids Marketing and Product Coordinator explained;
“The first set of HeroClix dials are optimized for the ruleset of the boxed BGCSG game and the second set of dials is optimized for the tactical tabletop miniatures game that uses the Powers and Abilities Card (PAC). The SwitchClix technology allows us to deliver two play experiences using both of these HeroClix systems and does not constrain design or playability. In effect, you get two HeroClix games with one purchase.”
In the Batman game players will be one of four Gotham villains who complete and deploy henchmen throughout the city. It is likely the game includes Batman, The Joker, Killer Croc, Two-Face and the Penguin.
