MCM, the group that runs Comic Cons in London, Manchester, Birmingham and the Midlands, today announced MCM Scotland Comic Con.
The Scottish arm of the franchise will be hosted at the SECC Glasgow. It opens on the 31st August.
Bryan Cooney, show co-organiser, said;
“MCM are so looking forward to bringing our brand to Glasgow’s SECC,”
“Our sponsors and exhibitors have been asking for a Scottish event and in 2013 they will get their wish. We look forward to visiting the city of Glasgow.”
The event will feature comics, video games, anime and manga as well as special guests.
There’s already a Facebook Page. The page is bare bones at the minute but followed by the main MCM page so is likely to be official.
Typically, MCM announces guest stars, signings and special events in waves as the start date to the Comic Con grows near.
