At the start of the year Geek Native noticed Narr8’s growing range. Narr8 is an interactive story platform that takes the concept of motion comics and takes it up a level.
The platform has seen success and this week launched on Amazon’s Appstore.
Alexandr Vashchenko, who founded the company, said;
“We are very excited to be launching on the Amazon Appstore and bringing NARR8 interactive content to Kindle Fire devices. As one of the leading applications store ecosystems, we know the importance of being compatible to Amazon products. We highly appreciate the support that Amazon offers to apps producers and believe that NARR8 will gain new reader communities within Amazon Appstore and specially Kindle Fire users, interested in interactive novels, motion comics, nonfiction, kids edutainment content and much more NARR8 offers,”
In May, Narr8 launched an Editor tool to let readers create their own interactive stories for iOS and Android. The user contributed stories are free to everyone until they’ve been downloaded 1,000 times at which point the creator can sell content in exchange for “NARR” the virtual currency the platform uses.
“It has always been important to NARR8 to be able to assist talented artists and creators, most importantly our readers. By implementing ‘editor,’ we are allowing our creative fans that write and want to share stories to do so with our 700,000+ users all over the world. We’re excited to continue evolving the NARR8 product and look forward to what this great addition will bring,”
