Back in November 2012 MCM announced Scotland Comic Con. We’ve had little in the way of updates since then although I can confirm that Geek Native will be ticket holders.

In this video Jerome Mazandarani, Head of Marketing and Acquisitions at Manga UK, announces Sword Art Online will be imported to the UK on DVD and Blu-ray and tells us there’s more news due for Scotland Comic Con. That’s one to look forward too.
I note Jerome’s job title too “marketing and acquistions”. That means he’s the guy who makes the call on what Manga UK should buy and then works out how to sell those titles back to us. It makes sense. Otherwise you’d have acquistions running the risk of purchasing titles that marketing weren’t confident they could promote. On that note it seems likely that the MCM Scotland Comic Con announcement will be a new import title.
