The team up of Paizo and FunTo11 on Kickstarter for the Pathfinder Dice Arena lets you play the iconic Pathfinder characters in a tournament. The area-tournament is there to explain why these characters might be fighting in the first place and avoids the damage dealing or luck aspects of some dice battles by keeping a focus on tactics.
The game promises free expansions and in return was asking for $35,000 in Kickstarter pledges. They’e 31 days on the clock and have raised $49,000 from nearly 700 backers. This will fund and dig deep into the stretch goals.
The smallest possible pledge for a reward? $62 for a copy of the game. That excludes the extra $35 needed for most places outside the States. Only 2 backers. That’s because there are still plenty of spaces in the limited to 1,000 $65 tier which will get you the game but access to all the stretch goals.
