How come an artist who is only now releasing his first album ended up doing the soundtrack for Halo 4? Neil Davidge made his name producing and co-writing for names like Massive Attack, David Bowie, Snoop Dog, Damon Albarn, Primal Scream, Elizabeth Fraser and Mos Def. The title track of the album ‘Slo Light’ certainly has echoes of Massive Attack.
The Halo 4 OST became the highest-charting video soundtrack ever, hitting #50 in the Billboard Chart, #10 n the Independent Album Billboard chart and #3 in the National Soundtrack Chart.
