Okay, disclaimer – I’ve not spoken to the busy hosts before writing this post (I pester them enough for the treasure hunt). I imagine the ability to register events won’t be open forever.
While you still can register events I think ConTessa (and any other online convention that rolls along this year; like Indie+) you’ve got the chance to showcase how your own RPG might work.
This chance strikes me as ideal for people with live Kickstarters or Kickstarters about to go live. Sure, without the name recognition you might struggle to attract all full house of gamers but you can surely bring one or two of your own. It also gives you the chance to begin that all important process of name recognition. You’d also be able to use quotes from the convention in your Kickstarter pitch.
