According to Last.fm I’ve over 200 plays of Professor Elementals to my name. Factor that up by how often I forget to scobble my music and you will come to the sensible conclusion that I rather like the musical bean. The Indifference Engine with the infamous Fighting Trousers, Splendid and the Quest For The Golden Frog come to mind.
You might ask why a British rapper, a mad professor with steampunk leanings, might feature on Geek Native? Is it because of the occasional mention of LARPing in his lyrics? No. But that would be a good guess.
Professor Elemental will be teaming up with Cheapass Games for Stuff and Nonsense. The full title is actually “Stuff and Nonsense: The Inevitable Aftermath of Professor Elemental’s Imaginary Polar Expedition”.
Cheapass say they encountered the Professor at SteamCom last year and decided they had to make a game together.
New games these days mean Kickstarter. It’s expected that the Professor will feature in the pitch video. One to look out for.
