Now that we’re approaching the end of season 4 of Game of Thrones how are you doing with the show? Finally decided to watch it and are looking to catch-up? Need to re-watch the first three seasons in order to work out the plot twists season 5 might attempt to surprise you with? Has the time come to insist your partner watches it with you over the summer? After all; they need to know that Winter is coming.
The Tesco owned blinkbox has a special offer each of the first three seasons. The Game of Thrones page on blinkbox is showing mark down to just £16.99 (with HD in at £22.99). It is expected the offer will run to the end of July. That might help address the “I need the first three series” needs.
What about Mr. Tickle and the Dragon? Well, since blinkbox is owned by Tesco you get Tesco clubcard points for purchase and there’s 250 for each Game of Thrones series you buy.
I wanted to know exactly what 250 clubcard points was worth and Tesco’s help site informed me that every 50 points are worth 50p. In other words, you’d get £2.50 of discount value for each Game of Thrones series.
To complete my research I popped over to Tesco Direct and had a rummage. What’s worth about £2.50 and that might interest me rather more than yet another microwave curry. I found my answer. I’d trade my Game of Thrones earned clubcard points in for Mr. Tickle and the Dragon. I had no idea there was such a title. It’s been out since 2008.
I wonder what Khaleesi would make of any of her brood terrorising the Mister Men?
