Seems that Starz Media’s awesome looking Spartacus: Blood and Sand isn’t the only production that’s looking to take the 300, a touch of Rome, some sex and some gladiator action and mix it all around. Acquire has a new game coming out on the PSP called Kentoushi: Gladiator Begins that looks to be doing exactly the same thing.
I was interested in the game because I simply adored Gladius. It seems to be rated in so many gamers’ top 10 games it is disappointing there’s been no sequel. Come on Lucas arts. You know you can do it!
Fans of Gladius will remember the lightly equipped Secutor class. They’d sneak up behind the big, slow heavies and unleash a devastating surprise attack. Fans may also remember the female Secutors in their huge elements and skimpy armoured bikini.
That’s the look that Kentoushi: Gladiator Begins is going with. Firstly there’s the standard cover but there’s also a limited special edition cover which directly appeals to the flesh.
