If you found a tear in reality, a rip in time and space, what would you do?
In the event of a wormhole encounter in which you luckily had a choice whether to go through or not your decision would be the choice of a lifetime. Geek Native was curious as to whether gamers might be bolder, braver and, er, more curious than anyone else.
In November Geek Native was giving away a bundle of Interstellar books. To win the competitions entrants had to say whether or not they were a gamer and whether they would travel through a wormhole or not.
We didn’t say anything about coming back.
Gamers are 50% more likely to travel through a wormhole than non-gamers. The method isn’t scientifically robust as our survey size is around 50. Here’s the break down.
There you have it. Just over three quarters of gamers would take the wormhole challenge whereas non-gamers split evenly down the middle.
