The Game Publishers’ Guild launched yesterday in a strategic alliance to create industry awareness for members and determine a level of product quality for participating games companies.
The founding members are;
- Arcanum Syndicate, publishers of Chaos 6010 A.D. and Pray for Dawn
- Cakebread and Walton, publishers of Abney Park’s Airship Pirates and OneDice Universal
- DramaScape, publishers of floorplans like Fairground and Boxing Gym
- Imaginary Empire, publishers of Epoch and Al Shir-Ma
- Mystical Throne Entertainment, publishers of the Entropic Gaming System and Mercenary Breed
- Rogue Games, Inc, publishers of Colonial Gothic and Shadow, Sword & Spell
- Scrying Eye Games, publishers of floorplans like Type A Far Trader “Easy Money”
The Games Publishers’ Guild will be spearheaded by Aaron Huss of Roleplayer’s Chronicle and Mystical Throne Entertainment.
It is expected that the Guild will start to release product bundles through DriveThruRPG in 2015 and will be open to new members joining.
