I enjoy R.S. Belcher’s weird west series. When his name along with Tonia Brown, Diana Pharaoh Francis, John Hartness, Jonathan Maberry, Gail Martin, Misty Massey, and James Tuck popped up in this Kickstarter campaign for Tales of the Weird Wild West I took notice.
At the time of posting there is well over $3,000 in the pot with a goal of $5,500 to hit. There are over 170 backers and 18 days still to go. This looks like a Kickstarter that could happen. It’s also worth noting that there are four slots in teh book open for submissions. Writer? Got a pitch? This might be an interesting way to make connections and build your audience.
Backers get a digital DRM-free copy of The Weird Warm West for a pledge of $10. If you’re quick you might pick up one of the very few limited $5 spaces for the same. The fan level is $20 which gets you an email thank you card from an author and a DRM-free copy of Eternal Wanderings by Danielle Ackley-McPhail as a bonus. The pledge tiers actually go all the way up to $750 for super fans.
