The 2300AD RPG is set in a hard science world. Humankind is in a struggle to maintain footholds in more than 20 alien worlds. It some some 300 years since close brush with with an apocalyptic scenario and mankind has had to take to stars. We’ve discovered that we’re not alone.
The aliens are a constant presence and the colonists in the frontier worlds struggle.
2300AD features a richly developed hard SF universe, with the only faster-than-light drive available – the stutterwarp – a real violation of science as we know it. Across the worlds encounters with airships, helicopters and even hovercraft are common. The book includes expanded character generation rules, an impressive collection of world maps, cybernetics, genetic-engineering and with the revision there are new aliens, weapons, armour, vehicles and spacecraft.
