In Geek Native’s review of Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water I suggested watching the series was like having nostalgia for something you didn’t watch the first time round. The animation style, from the 90s, reminds me very much of classic cartoons like The Mysterious Cities of Gold but this particular Jules Verne inspired series is rated 15 and that’ll be why it never aired with other childhood classics.
The complete series collection will be released on the June the 22nd and the blu-ray set will cost more than £50 from Amazon. That’s well worth it for collections. Strapped for cash? Geek Native has secured two copies to give away.
