Erebus Studios are working on Veil Fall, a miniatures board game from the dark future Veil Fall universe. The game, we’re told, is inspired by the computer games Dark Souls and Bloodborne. This means it’ll be hard.
The Coalition has declined into civil war and some of those supporting the return of the Old Empire are carrying out rituals to summon the Gods of Darkness. Veil Sickness breaks out, people become monsters over night, warped by strange energies and the Awakened grow in number.
The setting will be teased, there will gaps, clues and areas for players to guess. This Kickstarter campaign is to expand the range of true scale miniatures; humans standing at 28mm from feat to eyes and the Wul’Vren standing at 48mm.
The Kickstarter is asking for Canadian dollars. There’s some limited $66 CAD pledge levels which get you two miniature packs. Once that sells out you’ll need to jump up to $76. Google tells me that $76 CAD is about $66 US and about £39 UK. To get the full Kickstarter bundle of Two Kyimtaro Storm Trooper pack, two Wul’Vren Shock Claw packs and two Wul’Vren Assult Claw pack you’ll need to put down the $200 CAD – which gets you models of a retail value of $260 CAD.
