I’m trying to think if I’ve ever seen a successful pitch for a specialised game table on Kickstarter until Carolina Game Tables came along. This one is a winner; asking for $15,000 and beating $20,000. At the time of writing there’s more than a day to go and a tally of $25,000 isn’t impossible. You can grab more details here.

Jodi and Clink Black aren’t just well connected in RPG circles; they’re trusted. That’s a big help. They’ve done great things with Savage Worlds and Pinnacle Entertainment Group. Just from the video you can tell the gaming tables look good and large. The play area is 32″ x 50″ and 3 inches deep. That’s burgundy cloth covering the base.
There’s some bad news if you’re outside the United States of America. You’ll have seen this coming – but there’s no shipping. The good news for Americans is that the table is expected before the end of the year. There are some limited spaces left at the $1,499 range which gets you a table and after that if you want to order you’re looking at $1,599 for the table. The Kickstarter also allows you to buy chairs.
