The Kickstarter is for a card game called Bots Battleground but all the focus are on the Boogie Dice. What are Boogie Dice? They’re d6 that spring to life, at a click of the fingers or a clap, and dance around your tabletop to roll themselves. You can check out more details on the Kickstarter page.

It’s possible to get just the Boogie Dice with a pledge. $22 unlocks 1 Boogie Dice, a double charger and all the stretch goals. You get two Boogie Die for the $38 mark. If you want the Bots Battleground game with 2 dice then you need to step up to $58.
The charger is worth talking about. Each die has a 100 mAh rechargeable lithium battery and the 3-dot side of the die is an interface. You don’t charge these up with a micro USB connection. You need the charger.
If, like me, you took part in the Pressy campaign and liked it then you’ll be pleased to know that Nimrod invented both. I’ve no idea where my Pressy currently is and I never really used it as it would random call people. However, I thought the Kickstarter was well run and was quite impressed by the tech. The fact that Boogie Dice will have an app of their own is, I think, a positive.
