Last year Geek Native suggested “Dear Dungeon Master, wear this tie while crushing players” and it looks like gamers agreed, taking a fancy to these dice and dragon ties. Now Binary Winter press are back with a set of designs that imagine what the label on a bottle of spirits, of the alcoholic nature, would look like in a sci-fi or fantasy setting. A Kickstarter is being run to turn the designs into products and you can access full information at the campaign page.
The campaign asks for $5,000 and, at the time of writing, has a whopping 27 days still to run and is closing in on $1,500.
The pledge levels are straight forward; $24 will get you either a speculative spirit t-shirt or necktie. There’s no discount for getting two of any type but if you step up to get two of both then there’s savings. You can go as high as 6 of each and I imagine that’ll suit RPG or geeky store owners or perhaps RPG conferences.
I especially like that the t-shirt and tie designs are appropriately adapted. It’s not the case that the tie has a smaller print of the t-shirt design.
