It was just a few months ago, in Novemeber, when we reported on John Wick buying 7th Sea back from AEG. He’s got the Kickstarter up already and it’s a smash hit. At the time of writing there’s 33 days left on the clock, $115,00 in the bank against a target of only $30,000. You can watch the ticker increase at the campaign page.

[Back this Campaign]
There’s no cheap pledge level to let you track the campaign and decide whether you want to go deeper. The first tier starts at $20 and unlocks the full, 300+ page PDF, which you’ll get from DriveThruRPG. Double that to get all the PDF stretch goals including PDFs of the 1st edition.
The hardbound, colour, rulebook is available once you hit the $60 mark. That’s where most of the backers have gone although there’s nearly as many for the Limited Edition copy of the book. How much is that? $200.
As Wick explains in the video the second edition has some learnings from the first and offers up a similar but streamlined gaming experience. Théah is pretty much the same (except with the addition of the Sarmatian Commonwealth) but they’ve forwarded the plot.
The stretch goals are focused on unlocking new parts of the world. The first expansion has already been unlocked which means The New World, a book inspired by Central and South America, will follow.
Make no mistake. This is a Kickstarter that will go deep into stretch goal waters. The combination of pirates, swashbuckling, sorcery and romance appeals to many gamers.
