After some chunky delays Modiphius have launched the Kickstarter for their Conan RPG and it’s already funded. The project asks for £45,000 and at the time of writing there’s still 33 days on the cloak, £54,000 in the bank from over 500 backers. You can watch the progress at the campaign page.

There’s a few backing tiers to consider. £7 gets the Players Guide in PDF which are 112 pages, in full colour, taken from the core book. £15 gets the full Conan RPG in PDF. Step up to £30 and you’ll get the full colour, 368 paged, hardcover core book and a PDF copy too. If you want to keep up with the stretch goals as they unlock you need to step higher still to £40.
The top pledge level, which already has 24 backers, costs £600 and unlocks a Conan style treasure chest of goodies.
Modiphius are experts at running Kickstarters so this should be a smooth process. They’re putting a big focus on the artists; having finally gone back to having a Brom front cover, and will be sticking with the 2d20 system they’ve used on John Carter and Mutant Chronicles.
Sure enough; the first stretch goal unlocks at £60,000 and doubles the amount of art from the “major artists” in the core rulebook while hitting £85,000 unlocks the full colour, hardcover, Conan the Thief.
