Saturday 18th is Free RPG Day. The idea here is that you pop into a store, support your local trader and pick up a free RPG in exchange. Is your local RPG shop taking part? This store locator will know.
Right now there are 5579 free RPGs available on DriveThruRPG, that’s up from 4578 free RPGs in 2015 and 3679 free RPGs in 2014.
One big twist this year – I’m not sure DriveThruRPG are involved at all. Right now they’ve 10 days left on their Dark Urban Fantasy sale.
Some of the companies involved are making their contributions available online or are making the day. Paizo have the Pathfinder Module We B4 Goblins! available to attendees, you can download the Shambling Un-Dead adventure directly from Goodman Games and if you’re in the Cult of Chaos you can grab Chaosium’s The Derelict too.
Keep your eyes open for Free RPG Day inspired sales. Troll Lord Games has one with up to 30% off products. Fat Goblin have reduced many titles to $1.
