TimeWatch is an RPG from Kevin Kulp. It’s born from a Kickstarter Campaign that made over $100,000.
The game is from Pelgrane Press and uses the Gumshoe system, familiar to players of Night’s Back Agents and Trail of Cthulhu, with some modifications. The time travelling adventure is rules light and can be played in various modes; patrol (the default) where the PCs are effectively policing the timeline, cinematic style if you want to recreate certain movies, rebel style if the PCs try to change history for the better or even a pulp setting if you want aliens and dinosaurs to pop up more often.
There’s a number of mission hooks provided in the game’s main rulebook. The RPG is currently available from DriveThruRPG for $24.95.
Geek Native’s been able to secure an 11-paged review of TimeWatch. This is a chance to peer in between the pages of the roleplaying game and check it out before you buy a copy.
Pelgrane Press are also offering the TimeWatch RPG Bundle. This $54.85 offer gets you the TimeWatch RPG, the mission set Behind Enemy Times and the collection of time travelling curios The Book of Changing Years.
