I rarely roleplay with minis and yet I’m tempted by the Fog Monster. Why not have a spooky fog breeze out over your RPG? Real Game FX have their campaign up on Kickstarter and it’s going well. At the time of writing, there are 21 days to go, 590 backers and $58,320+ pledged for a $45,000 target.
How much do you have to pledge to get a Fog Monster machine? $85 for a clear Fog Monster machine – unless you’re super quick and snap up one of the last $75 early birds. The second machine costs more, $109, but looks like a crypt. The idea is you can place it directly on your map without looking weird.
The fog is colourless, odourless and runs on water. You should get 3 hours of fog and can control how much you get.
I’m very tempted. I think the machine oozes atmosphere. Two concerns; how much noise does it make and what to do about the American plug attached to it?
