White Wolf have teamed up with DriveThruRPG to launch Storytellers Vault. This isn’t just a specialist site to download World of Darkness products. This is also a platform to create and sell your own non-canonical supplements.
Here’s what the deal includes;
Self-publishing platform. Storytellers Vault allows creators to publish tabletop RPG material or stories tying into any previous edition of Vampire: The Masquerade up to and including the Vampire: The Masquerade 20th Anniversary Edition game lines.
Control over pricing and publication. Creators can decide how much they want to charge for their release. They also maintain control over their title’s availability for sale.
Royalty-based earnings. Creators earn fifty percent of earned revenue on a per sale basis.
Professional quality assets. Creators have access to over fifteen templates and art packs to help them produce titles that look and feel like Vampire: The Masquerade.
Language-agnostic publications. Creators can offer materials in any language to support and connect with World of Darkness fans around the world.
In summary – you set the price but keep only 50%. In exchange you get access to the marketplace and some creation tools.
