Free League Publishing’s RPG Tales from the Loop took Best Game and a host of other Ennies in 2017. The game’s rules are based on Mutant: Year Zero and while you can get the game from FLP’s site now you’ll have to wait until September for it to arrive on Amazon.
In 1954, the Swedish government ordered the construction of the world’s largest particle accelerator. The facility was complete in 1969, located deep below the pastoral countryside of Mälaröarna. The local population called this marvel of technology The Loop.
Other winners included Jon Wick’s 7th Sea (which Geek Native readers incorrectly predicted would win Best Game) and publisher Chaosium.
