Modiphius are calling the John Carter of Mars Kickstarter a success. At the time of writing there are still 18 days left on the clock but since they’re £100,000 over their asking price – I think they’re safe to do so!

The Modiphius 2d20 adventure intends to let players take on the role of heroes shortly after the events of A Princess of Mars. At the start of the quest Carter is traveling with Dejah and allies to meet a delegation from a Red Martian kingdom. Perhaps all is not what it seems?
A Kickstarter pledge of £35/US$47 is enough to unlock the full John Carter of Mars core PDF, all the PDFs produced by stretch goals, the plot booklet and Gamesmsater screen also in PDF form.
The book is written and the layout work is underway. All being well, depending on how many books they need to make, Modiphius are suggesting shipping in the summer for backers. A retail release will follow in the winter.
