Gen Con is an iconic roleplaying games convention. Founded in 1968 by Gary Gygax, the co-creator of Dungeons & Dragons, it now hosts tens of thousands of gamers.
Gen Con 2018 will run from August 2nd to 5th, in Indianapolis, Indiana, but not everyone will get to go. The list of gamers missing out include this blogger but thankfully Suzanne has a solution.
Here’s the tweet from 2014 that started it all.
@NakedMeeple I think we need to start a #GenCant movement.

The official site for the ‘UnConvention’ is up at GenCant.com and is loaded with competitions.
My favourite, though, is the GenCan’t badge coded by David Flor. Fill in your name and you’ll get your own ‘I’m not at Gen Con’ badge of honour.
David Flor is also a writer of roleplaying game supplements and you find his work over in the Dungeon Master’s Guild.
