The newly forged Mondo Games continues to tease and tempt up with good looking board games. The Thing: Infection at Outpost 31 is a success and Jurassic Park: The Chaos Gene is coming.
The growing publisher is also bringing us a Fight Club game that’s due September this year. Fight Club: The Home Game is a 2-player competitive deck-building card game. Two players mean you each play one side of a split personality as you compete for control of a single mind. A bit dark but in line with the book and movie.
You can be either The Narrator or Tyler Durden. The Narrator encourages the single mind to collect, gather and nest. On the other hand, Tyler feeds the urge to destroy things and unleash mayhem.
Sound interesting? Mondo has a very much “in character” website for updates and slide.
This is your life and it’s ending one minute at a time. As you become a slave to the retail nesting instinct, you have the desire to collect, gain and build your way to being truly complete. You are just one item away from total happiness. However, you must ignore that voice in your head telling you to fight it. The voice is strong, charismatic, dangerous, and will not let you rest until you evolve. But with a little support, a comforting hug, a good cry, and a solid night’s sleep, you have the power to make everything go away.
