If you’re reading this before September 4th then you could get 1 or 2 free coins from this Kickstarter. It’s J.M. Ward’s 5th project, the 2nd for the year and he’s never missed a delivery target. No Kickstarter is risk-free, but this feels a safer bet than most.
At the time of writing the campaign target has been smashed with US$31,641 in the bank against a target of just $1,000. You can follow the progress at the campaign page.
It’s worth watching the Kickstarter video to see the significance of the year carved on the side of the coin. That’s the evidence that your coin is a Kickstarter edition and therefore the most collectable. Any second production run of popular coin runs will not carry the year marking.
Let’s assume you miss the early bird extra coin offer and work out what you can get for your pledges if the Kickstarter is successful. US$19 will get you three coins of your choice.
Here’s the table
$19 pledged | 3 dice coins |
$25 pledged | 4 dice coins |
$31 pledged | 5 dice coins |
$37 pledged | 6 dice coins |
$43 pledged | 7 dice coins |
$49 pledged | 8 dice coins |
$73 pledged | 12 dice coins |
$85 pledged | 15 dice coins |
The display stands are an extra $1.50 each, and as a rule of thumb, you can order as many as the number of coins you pledge for.
All the currently announced stretch goals are unlocked there are more being created. This success means we have a d4 fairy, d6 cleric, d8 ranger, d10 percentile skeleton dragon and phoenix coins, and a d12 vampire.
