Dragonology is an amazing book. Written by Dugald Steer, Helen War and Douglas Carrel, it was edited by Ernest Drake and beautifully illustrated by Wayne Anderson.
Dragonology, though, like all the books that you like to pick up and flick through or hand to your friends to admire will age over time. Pages might get rough and the binding might start to tire. However, if you have the knowledge and tools necessary to rebind books then you can do something about that.
Artist Kristie Lane Koffard rebinds books for a hobby, loves her copy of Dragonology and so decided to do something with it. You can see more of Kristie’s art on her Instagram profile, The Alchemist’s Library, and wow. There are some amazing photographs there.

You’ll see that this wasn’t an book to rebind.
Kirstie doesn’t rebind books for money but if you’re already in love with her art then there’s good news. She has an Etsy store and with Christmas and other holidays coming up it might be worth a browse.
