Time Slug Studio has a simple little card game in Kickstarter which is successfully wooing gamers. At the time of writing there is just over a week on the campaign to go and they’ve raised nearly US$13,000 from the US$4,500 goal. That’s nearly 300% over. The 20-minute game plays with 3 to 6 players as a collaboration against the secret spy and is all about bluffing and psychology. Players offer each other cards while trying to collect the right colour combinations without going over. The whales have had enough and are out to destroy the world. There are only two things in their way; peace-loving turtles and a superhero spy!
A pledge of US$15 will get the basic edition and any stretch goals while stepping up to US$25 gets the collectors edition. The latter comes with a colouring book, a postcard and a handmade bag for the cards.
Time Slug Studio is based in Prague, in the Czech Republic, so it’s not a surprise to see that this is a multi-lingual Kickstarter. The English language rules are published as a PDF on their site.
