That’s a comic from Deathbulge. The comic site has been going since 2012 and now artist Dan Martin is running a Kickstarter to turn the characters into a computer RPG.
Unlike so many indie cRPGs we see on Kickstarter, Deathbuldge looks like it’ll sail past the finish line.
Martin is asking for $35,000 and with 17 days left on the clock, at the time of writing, he has $34,175 in the back. That’s 98% there.
To get the game you need to pledge $10 and wait until July 2020. If the game was promised for any earlier then I’d be sceptical.
You can play a demo now, though, which has been provided to prove to you the team has the skills to make the computer game. The catch, of course, is that you have to run an .exe from an unknown publisher on your machine. Think carefully before doing so.
I had a bash, though, and rather liked the battle system of mashing guitars at strange creatures in the surreal landscape. I wasn’t so sure about the rapid jabbering of the characters, though.
