Steve Dee of Tin Star Games has a new Kickstarter project, and it’s all about collecting hugely important relics in a holy war. The Kickstarter is looking to raise AU$19,000 and, at the time of writing, has 277 backers and AU$14,200 already in the bank with 25 days to go. You can follow the progress here.
A pledge of just one Australian dollar is enough to get you access to the beta rules, but if you want the final rules in PDF, you need to step up to AU$15 (about £8).
In the game you are an angel fighting to collect important relics from around the world in a holy power struggle. It’s a game that makes use of flashbacks and collective storytelling.
The game uses tarot cards and, wisely, Dee recognises some people will be happy with a PDF of the game but will want actual cards. AU$25 gets you a Relics Tarot deck and beta rules, and AU$40 gets you full PDF rules, stretch goals and a Relics Tarot deck.
Want the book in hardback and the Tarot deck? That’s AU$80. If Relics: A Game of Angels tempt you, then there’s likely a pledge tier for you.
You can buy the Angels quickstart from DriveThruRPG already. In fact, the quickstart has been live since November. The game has a suggested price of $2, but it is a pay as you want so if you’re considering backin the Kickstarter you could get them for free.
