The Museum of English Rural Life has around 120K followers and has a D&D reference in their Twitter bio. Tagged onto the end of how they describe themselves and their role as part of the University of Reading, they add the alignment “Lawful Good”.
D&D players around the web will recognise the pairing and award the museum with +1 geek points.
Yesterday, something odd happened. In response to MIT Technology Review covering the story of the world’s largest airplane taking to the skies, Elon Musk tweeted a picture of a grumpy looking sheep.
He then made the sheep his Twitter avatar.
The catch? That solid looking sheep had been taken from The Museum of English Rural Life’s Twitter banner.
At first, the D&D quoting museum expressed surprise. And then they retaliated.
That’s right, unofficially, Elon Musk is now the face of historic rural life in England.
