Catalyst Game Labs have announced a string of supplements as well as cards, dice, tokens and miniatures for the new Shadowrun 6th edition.
Some of these supplements will be available before the Shadowrun 6e core rules come out and some 5th edition purchases will automatically upgrade, at no extra cost, to the 6th edition.
In June, the Shadowrun Sixth World Beginner Box is due out. This will include quick-start rules for the game, character dossiers, an adventure as well as dice, cards and other extras.
Also in June, Catalyst Game Labs will release the Neo-Anarchist Streetpedia. This supplement is a guide to the Shadowrun universe, containing encyclopedia-like entries on corporations, infamous shadowrunners, politicians, criminal organisations and even whole cities.
The No Future guide becomes available in July. This product already exists in PDF for Shadowrun 5e. However, there is only a short section on rules, and so Catalyst Game Labs will update those and make the 6e edition a free upgrade for anyone who bought the original. (Note: at the time of writing No Future is currently 50% off at DrivethruRPG).
The core rule book is due out in August. Now we know it’ll cost around $49.99, while the Limited Edition will cost $99.99 and the Executive Edition will come in at a staggering $199.99.
The Shadowrun 6e Gamemaster Screen is due out in September. This screen will have Reputation trackers built directly into it along with pockets for cards.
Also in September, Cutting Black comes out. Catalyst Game Labs describe this as a story that both players and gamemasters will need. They also compare it to classics like Bug City and Universal Brotherhood and so it is likely to be a sourcebook for locations and developments in the Sixth World. This might be one you check with your GM before buying.
In October, 30 Nights will be released. This is a campaign book for Shadowrun 6e, with new rules and plot lines. Players will have to look into the mysterious blackout in Toronto. GMs have the option to run this campaign in either a single session or over a series of adventures.
Shadowrun 6e accessories
In addition to those books, Catalyst Game Labs have released dates and information on several Shadowrun accessories.
The Rogue’s Gallery: An NPC Deck is due out in August along with Dice & Edge Tokens.
The Prime Runner miniatures are also due out in August. The pack includes Sledge the ork street samurai, Coydog an elf shaman, a human decker called Gentry, a dwarf rigger called Hardpoint and Bianco a troll weapons specialist.
