These cute Pokemon butts are actually bookmarks. They’re made with a combination of plastic and polymer clay and then handpainted.
They’re made by My Bookmarks which is a store on Etsy which specialises in, yes, bookmarks!
You’ve a choice of Pokemon when you come to place your Pokebutt order. Select from;
- Bookachu
- Shelfuirtle
- Charmarker
- Pageowth
- Nerdevee
Don’t remember these Pokemon? That’s because they’re, ahem, all new and original creations. For, er, legal reasons? Or perhaps just cutely named alternatives for book dwelling pocket monsters.
MyBookmark ship many of their bookmarks from the States but I notice that these Pokebutts are sent from Ukraine. That doesn’t seem to add much time to the expected delivery date but it’s worth noting.
A welcome sign is that the store has had reviews with photographs of these goodies. The worst review I can see gives them 4 out of 5 stars. Why not 5 stars? It turns out that the plastic covering on the bookmarks and the weight at the end encourages them to slide out of your book if you hold it up.
