£170, 000 of rare Star Wars, Doctor Who, James Bond and other classic posters go up for auction

More than 400 original cinema posters will be auctioned next month in London by Prop Store. There will be an extensive Carry On poster collection, rare John Alvin poster artwork for Short Circuit, Captain Scarlet, Thunderbirds, Doctor Who, Star Wars and over 60 James Bond lots.

In total, some £170,000 (about $230,000) worth of posters are expected to be on the block. The event will be live streamed, and you can make a booking to view the items ahead of the auction via the registration site.

Some of the most valuable posters are listed below, with James Bond: Dr No taking the top spot with a value of around £10k.
