If you had to wander for a timeless age through the afterlife with a crew of people composed of one of the following then which group would you prefer?
Odd question? It’s inspired by Elizabeth Chaipraditkul’s Kickstarter Afterlife: Wandering Souls which finishes tomorrow.
Afterlife: Wandering Souls is a pen and paper roleplaying game in which you play someone stuck in the afterlife, with a motley crew of new friends, trying to recover memories and move on. It’s proved to be a popular concept, and the Kickstarter has raised more than twice the funds it needed to be successful.
Geek Native ran a competition in which you could win dice, and an art print from the Kickstarter and over a hundred people tried their hand. Entering the competition required answering the question;
If you had to wander for a timeless age through the afterlife with a crew of people composed of one of the following then which group would you prefer?
There were five possible answers people could give;
Option | Percentage of Votes |
Empathetic activists | 16.3% |
Entertaining thespians | 23.8% |
Imaginative gamers | 42.5% |
Lascivious models | 17.5% |
Provocative academics | 12.5% |
Of course, geeks visit this blog and are most interested in winning game dice and so our data is biased towards the demographic. The sample size isn’t terribly significant, either.
However, for a bit of fun, the stats are interesting. The poor academics came in the last position, but thespians beat the lascivious models.
