Following on from the successful Remarkable Inns & Their Drinks, LoreSmyth has finally started the Kickstarter for the next book. This one discusses shops in a more general sense, has 100 pages, is system neutral but also includes some “5e-ish” rules for special effects. It launched today and is already about halfway funded. A pledge of €15 (about £13) will get you the bookmarked and hyperlinked PDF. Step up to €20 for the softcover and €30 for the hardcover
There are stretch goals, but LoreSmyth is a one-man band so, wisely, the extras are carefully considered. The early stretch goals help pay for a print run to replace the print-on-demand fulfilment and new art.
No pledge tier will get you access to LoreSmyth’s other products, not even Remarkable Inns, but these are available as Add-ons.
Experienced Kickstarter backers will be interested to see Nord Games announced as the USA and Canada fulfilment partner. It seems both nice to give them credit in the Kickstarter space and wise to name them up front.
