Nintendo’s The Dark Crystal game is part of Netflix’s prequel. This is ‘The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistances – Tactics’
The game is being developed by BonusXP and En Masse Entertainment, and it will be available sometime later this year.
The battlefield mechanics reminds me of an old Lucas Arts computer game called Gladius in which you would try and get the right type of gladiator into the right position against a gladiator unit they were strong against.
In this game, though, it looks like you have got a much larger ‘arena’. You may even have exploration to do to find smart ways around enemy forces or through the terrain.
This is a battle between the Gelflings and the Skekis, and it looks like the evil ones have already mastered their magical talent for turning Gelflings into mindless slaves. Aughra both narrates the trailer and fights for the forces of light in the game.
