Have you ever had a D&D game grind to a halt as players stop to look up the stats of unfamiliar weapons and armour they’ve just looted? Or, worse, had a game carry on as normal even though the group should be in awe at the treasure they just got their hands on?
It’s that sort of problem that Trilith Studio is trying to prevent with LOOT. It’s a card deck full of magic armour and weapons and it is on Kickstarter.
I note the stats on the cards are for D&D but the idea of using them as either a random item generator or a visual aid (or both) holds for any fantasy RPG.
The art on these player handouts looks amazing, and Trilith Studio’s latest update makes it even better. LoreSmyth is helping design cards. You can see the new addition just below here.
A pack of these cards only costs €10 (plus shipping), and that’s good value. It’s not uncommon to see the PDF option priced higher than this, but here you’re getting the physical things.
These are good quality cards too, printed by a company called Cartamundi and on 300gs card stock and with a gloss finish. Cartamundi print Magic: The Gathering cards.
