There’s still two weeks on the clock (at the time of writing) and the game is more than 400% funded. Those raptors sure know how to run a campaign. You can follow their escape over at the campaign page.
Jurassic World is a miniatures game for 2 to 4 people, players should be 12 or older, and the game will be done in about an hour and a half.
A pledge of €55 (about £49) will get you the core box and all the stretch goals, add 40 squid more, and you’ll get the Fallen Kingdom or Domination expansion as well. You can go higher.
The game covers both Jurrasic Park and Jurassic World titles, and lets players run through scenarios based on the movies or just play as dinosaurs.
It’s a hefty box coming with 1 neoprene board, 4 player boards, 96 dinosaur cards, 32 mercenary cards, 44 state cards, 128 hero cards, 8 decor hexes, 1 rulebook, 1 scenario booklet, 1 coin for the 1st player and, importantly, 14 different miniatures. The triceratops is 72mm tall.
Stretch goals have unlocked more mercenaries, Roland Tembo, Stiggy, an ankylosaurus, a sick triceratops (complete with 2 piles of poo – no, really) and a gyrosphere. Next in the stretch goals is one Dr Ian Malcolm model. If we get up to 300,000 euros, then the mosasaurus bust will unlock.
