Renegade Game Studios, the ever-growing, has announced an RPG powered by their Kids on Bikes system. It’ll be co-published with Hunters Entertainment and Infectious Play Publishing.
The RPG has been designed by Jonathan Gilmour, and Doug Levandowski and players take on the roles of space-travelling adolescents on the brink of full maturity.
The team will be able to customise their own starships and try and repair it when it malfunctions, testing the bonds of friendships when that happens.
The sound of the photon-powered battering ram echoes in your ship. Your Sollemnean pilot informs you that the doors have an 83.4% chance of breaking with the next hit. The cyborg dog to your right is checking and rechecking her enhancements. Your hand rests on the blaster at your hip as you hear the battering ram powering up again. As it hits, the sound of metal rending sends the rest of your crew to high alert. But you smile. This is going to be fun..
It is a 122-page, full-colour, book with art by Heather Vaughn. It’s a standalone purchase, you don’t need Kids on Bikes to play it, but you do need a crew of 2 to 6 players aged 8 and over, with a GM/storyteller.
The RPG is open for pre-orders today.
