Mythic Games have worked hard to build up a rock solid reputation, and when a board game collects over $200,000 in its opening days on Kickstarter, they get to cash in on that effort. Super Fantasy Brawl is a miniature skirmish game that’s only gone to crowdfunding for a few days but you can pledge and follow the progress here.
Geek Native had the chance to play some Super Fantasy Brawl at UK Games Expo this year and can confirm it’s a fun game. The minis on show for the demo were very detailed, helpfully large and imaginative while the brawling mechanics straight-forward with enough room for some proper tactical considerations.
The pledging is easy for the Kickstarter. A pledge of $49 (about £39) will get you the core game, unlocked rewards and the Game Trayz exclusive box layout. The other pledge, which costs $89, will get you those goodies plus the Neo-Kit, SLEEVE-Kit and the Force of Nature expansion.
The Force of Nature expansion adds 3 minis (Nevamor, Taze and Loralei) to the game and their 21 cards. The SLEEVE-Kit is 120 standard sized card sleeves and 15 mini-sleeves while the Neo-KIT is the neoprene stitched arena board and 4 neoprene stitched dashboards.
