RiotMind’s Trudvang Legends is being turned into a board game by CMON.
Designed by Eric M. Lang, Guilherme Goulart, and Fel Barros Trudvang Legends will be a legacy board game. This means the actions you take in it will have a persistent effect on the world, and you play from one mission to another.
Some gamers dislike legacy games’ habit of having you rip up tokens or mark things on maps when you’ve completed them. What if you want to play again? What if you want to keep your game pristine? CMON has a solution.
In this video, Eric M. Langs talks about the game and how this is a legacy campaign you can replay as often as you want.
The game is coming to Kickstarter. We expected Q2 of 2019… so it’s a little late.
Trudvang Legends will feature art by Paul Bonner, Alvaro Tapia, Gio Guimarães, and Henning Ludvigsen. Juan Navarro Perez, Arnaud Boudoiron, Edgar Ramos, and Aragorn Marks are listed to work on the detailed sculpts.
The RPG, Trudvang Chronicles, is an award-winning RPG with Shapeshifters, dimwalkers and blótkings based on a blend of fantasy, Norse and Celtic myths.
Chronicles pushes back against the dungeon crawl concept in favour of a saga about nature as a supernatural force and about mysteries and hidden secrets. Magic is shaman-like, down-to-earth and different between races.
Are you a fan of the RPG? Do you think a board game will be able to the unique world created by RiotMinds justice?
